Isenhour Follow-up

Tripp Isenhour, the professional golfer, accepted a no-contest plea to two misdemeanor charges arising out of the death of a federally protected red-shouldered hawk.  See March 6, 2008 Blog Post, Professional Golfer Charged for Killing Migratory Bird with Golf Shot.  Under the plea agreement, Isenhour is required to serve one year probation, donate $1,500.00 to the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary and pay a $500.00 fine.  He must also perform forty hours of community service and attend an anger management class.

Isenhour should consider himself lucky as the charges (and the resulting penalties) could have been much more severe.  In fact, he could still face federal charges.

More later.
